The initial aromas and flavors are quite intense, but these moderate as the beer matures. Bred in 1994 by Hop Products Australia by crossing a female tetraploid (J78) with a male derived from Perle.^[17] Alpha acids 11 - 16%. Typical total oils (ml per 100g) 3.0 - 5.0, which is the highest known. Breeding code 94-203-008.
